Parts Of Cape Coast Submerged By Floods

Central Regional capital, Cape Coast has seen parts of its township flooded following a heavy downpour in the day.

The rains that started around 3:25 am in the morning through to the evening have displaced some residents in the capital.

The affected areas included Abura, Pedu, Ekon, Moree, Bakaano, Kakumdo and the Takoradi Highway.

The Cape Coast School for the Deaf, Ghana National Academy, Aggrey Memorial A.M.E zion SHS and the Moree D/A Primary school were also not spared by the flood.

Commercial and private drivers plying those areas have been advised by the Region's National Fire Service Department to drive with caution.
